Praying the Psalms During Lent
At my church, some of us will be praying the Psalms during Lent using the following schedule.
Set aside time twice each day to read the psalms (aloud or silently) as prayers using the following schedule. Select a quiet space to minimize distractions. You may want to fashion a prayer shawl, or light a candle (do not leave it unattended), etc. to help set the mood. Take time to hear God speak to you through the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s a great way to begin and end each day.
